The year was 2006; I had just graduated high school and had no clue what I was going to do with the rest of my life. After taking a year off from school I decided that maybe media was the way to go. My first year back in school, I was still unsure if media was for me and even if I made it through my first year, I had no idea what type of media job I wanted to do.

 

In the end, I have always had a great passion for music, and a habit for talking peoples’ ears off, so radio seemed like the best fit. I spent the next two and half years honing my skills in Brandon, Manitoba, and then decided it was time to look for a new challenge and travel somewhere I had never been - which is what brought me to Yellowknife.

 

I have heard this is a great community with even greater people and I look forward to meeting you all. While I don’t know what’s in store for me here in Yellowknife, I do know it’s going to be a great experience and an amazing adventure.
