OH…..The year was 2007 (How I wished I was in radio then!)
I had searched for a job and then was working part time
But I had to make the airwaves mine!

Gosh darn it all!
I was told I’d kill in the North
Pack your bags and go forth!  
I’m a music geek and I’m rocking the NWT
They Call Me Jay Bear I hope you’ll listen to me!

 Just a city boy! (sort of?)
Born and raised in Northwood, Thunder Bay!
I took a morning plane to Yellowknife (With a stop over in Edmonton of course)

A speaker in an on-air room
I talk of life and things to do
I’ll make you smile and share the afternoon
I’ll try not to go on and on and on and on and on and on and on.

I could go changing music lyrics like that for a long time but here’s the real deal: in 2007 I was working part time at a classic rock station in London Ontario. I was looking for full time work and the opportunity to really launch my radio career and here I am. In my time here I have worked every shift including Saturdays. My hats off to McMullen because the 4am alarm never did sit well with me. Now I’m exactly where I want to be…sleeping in. LOL! No seriously I love the afternoon drive slot finishing up your day at work and getting you home with some great tunes, fun contests and letting you know what’s going on in the Capital City and the Hub.
